Lets learn about sequence!
The word sequence means a particular order in which related events, movements, or things follow each other.
See the following website for more information on sequence.
www.bbc.co.uk/education/guides/zsf8d2p/revision
When we are programming in scratch we use sequence all the time. Check out the following piece of code. This code will work in sequence, the cat will do the following:
1. move 20 steps
2. turn 15 degrees
3. move forward 10 steps.
It will always do it in that order.
See the following website for more information on sequence.

Activities
Activity 1 - Create your own sequence
1. Create a Google Doc in your scratch folder.
2. Title the document 'Sequence'
3. Create your own sequence in scratch.
4. Copy and paste it onto your Google Doc.
5. Explain what sequence is in programming.

3. Create your own sequence in scratch.
4. Copy and paste it onto your Google Doc.
5. Explain what sequence is in programming.
Lets learn about Selection!
The word selection means the action or fact of carefully choosing someone or something as being the best or most suitable.
See the following website for more information on selection
www.bbc.co.uk/education/guides/z2p9kqt/revision
When we are programming in scratch we can use selection to make the cat do different things, depending on the actions of the user.

Lets learn about Iteration!
Iteration means the repetition of a process.
See the following website for more on iteration
www.bbc.co.uk/education/guides/zg46tfr/revision
When we are programming we can use iteration in order to repeat certain commands. In scratch there are several blocks we can use to achieve iteration.
